Having been brought up in pubs, I’ve always had a passion for quality food, real ales and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Over the years, I’ve run several pubs, and I can honestly say that The Old Boathouse is the best yet.

First and foremost, The Old Boathouse is a ‘real’ Cotswolds pub. It’s somewhere where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat in a relaxed setting. In fact, we’re one of the few pubs in the area that serve food all day.

When I arrived three years ago, I was lucky enough to have a brand new pub. Since then, I’ve built up a great team, and we’ve worked hard to create an environment that people will want to come back to time and time again. We use as many local suppliers as possible, ensuring that ingredients are excellent quality, and have built up a good reputation throughout the Cotswolds.

Like all great pubs, The Old Boathouse has a fantastic setting, offering stunning views across the lake all year round. We’re right in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, near to Cirencester and Swindon, and within easy reach of lots of popular Cotswolds towns and villages.

Whether you fancy a morning coffee, a quick pint, a hearty Sunday Lunch or a delicious three course dinner, The Old Boathouse is the perfect choice. We welcome the whole family, so if you’ve got children, bring them along. We can even cater for weddings and parties (kids’ and adults’). And we have FREE high speed Wi-Fi, so you’ll be able to stay fully connected, even though our peaceful lakeside setting will make you feel like you’re a million miles away from the rat race.
